why am i writing about her in my first entry? probably because she's my favorite actress..and she's a model..now- why do i admire her so much- many would argue that there are better actresses out there and there are hotter models..well- let's just say that she portrayed alice (of resident evil- in case you don't know) like alice is as real as anybody could be..she breathed life and soul into alice and not many actresses can do that, not when you're talking about action/horror flick especially zombie-inspired movies, usually they would all be about the action and the 'gross' factor- but milla as alice was all about the action and more..she really became alice..
and my favorite add campaign- milla for banana republic, that's when i first thought- wou! these clothes look great! i mean. not many add campaign could really relate to a primary school girl, because usually they'd all be really outrageous and out of this world that sometimes, i felt that the models looked like peacocks with tall feathers on the head and rainbow coloured 'thing' wrapped around their bodies!! but milla in banana republic add campaign made me want to grow up and get rich and buy all the clothes she wore..
i had always loved fashion ever since i could remember, and even my first favorite chinese drama was about fashion, titled, 'a friend in need is a friend indeed' which captured the life of a girl in the fashion industry- that was back in the 80's..and i would pinched saved my pocket money to buy a used or old local fashion magazine once every month..
i even wrote in my 001r card that i wanted to be a fashion designer twice (we must fill in our ambition every year from primary one until primary 6)..
and milla jovovich maybe was and still is my fashion muse..her fashion flair never fails to impress..
